Asset Manager job North region ideally in Merseyside area, Home based. £36000 + car
Your new company
You will be joining an established client side company. With nearly 600 stores around the UK, also expanding into Europe. With so many existing stores, and more in the offing, they need a Property Asset Manager to manage the estate from lease management to property acquisition. It's a broad role, where you'll get to put your stamp on the company and role. This is a field based role covering the Northern region. You will report to the Estates and Acquisition manager.
Your new role
You will be responsible for prioritising lease events, rent reviews, lease renewals and re-gears in your region, but also acting as project lead for national event management, budgeting and forecasting. Building relationships with external agents and internal peers, will be critical to running this smoothly. In addition, you'll look to acquire sites in your region for new stores. And, of course, there will be ad-hoc property projects that you'll take on too.
What you'll need to succeed
You will of come from an estate management background from a commercial property sector. A savvy negotiator, you will be comfortable dealing with lease events as you are with securing new sites to meet expansion plans. As such, you're up-to-speed on business rates and have an awareness of the legalities surrounding these kinds of property contracts. You will be organised, resilient and able to prioritise an ever-shifting workload. You will ideally have a RICS accredited degree and any knowledge of the industrial sector would help.
