Building Surveyor opportunity in Liverpool working consultancy side offering £25000 - £38000 + car allowance

Due to continued growth our client is looking to appoint a building surveyor to the team in Liverpool. They are happy to look at both APC level building surveyors or recently chartered building surveyors. They are a progressive and innovative SME that welcomes and embraces new ideas. They are a multidisciplinary team who offer services including Quantity Surveying, project management, design, building surveying, health and safety across a mix of sectors predominantly in education and healthcare.
Your new role
You will be join a dynamic team of 4 other building surveyors in the Liverpool office who work on a variety of projects and the role will involve: Providing building surveying services of various kinds, including defect investigations, condition surveys, planned maintenance surveys and schedules of condition associated with party wall matters, dilapidations and insurance valuations. Assisting and leading on the design of projects including a mixture of refurbishment and some new build projects. Full duties as contract administrator and financial project management of small to medium sized schemes. Client management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will either be working towards completing your APC ideally this year or recently qualified. Have strong previous Building Surveying experience. Professional experience in the public, educational and commercial sectors. First-class communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Strong user of Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and NBS. A strong personal desire for continuous improvement and career progression.
