Your new role
Your new role as an assistant will be to take off quantities from drawings for procurement and checking subcontractor applications. Checking materials invoices against purchase orders. Cope with any issue tender enquiries and placing material orders. Tracking client extras spreadsheet and preparing monthly progress valuations. Renewing contracts and preparing any issuing consultant appointments.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate must be reliable, trustworthy and proactive, with an enthusiastic approach to work and learning. Strong organisation and communication skills, with a methodical approach and a good attention to detail. Excellent use of Microsoft applications include Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in using database and similar IT systems. Willingness to develop career and undertake further training to support career development. Previous experience in the construction industry.
