We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative, talented and experienced Programme Manager to join our team.   Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest acute Trusts in the country, with specialist centres for Major Trauma, Hyper-acute Stroke, Paediatrics, Renal Transplant, Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine. Based in North West London, our hospitals - Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea, St Mary’s and The Western Eye provide services for nearly two million people.

With our academic partner, Imperial College London, we are one of the UK’s seven academic health science centres, working to ensure the rapid translation of research for better patient care and excellence in education.

Distinctly historic in parts and state-of-the-art in others, our estate poses some significant challenges. These are being addressed through a 10 year re-development strategy which will see substantial re-configuration and investment. This role is pivotal in shaping and improving the future estate of the Trust.

As Redevelopment Programme Manager you will take operational responsibility for the redevelopment of the St Mary’s, Western Eye, Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospital sites. This will involve the development of the programme and management of external advisors and design teams.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a professional qualification in a property/built environment related discipline (building, engineering, or surveying). They will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, staff and budgets within a setting of similar scale and complexity. Key to their success will be strong experience in delivery and contract management.  The ability to work well in a team and a customer focussed approach are essential.

Closing date for application is Thursday 17 May 2018

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 30 May 2018
